For my February project, I updated my resume to better reflect what I have accomplished and learned in my work as a Vivero Fellow here at Grinnell. I’ve learned a lot through my work, much of which is the particular tools I have been trained on and the skills associated with them. Compiling these together, during my time as a Vivero fellow I have learned the skills of documentation relevant to digital studies work and in particular building websites, as well as skills in building websites especially in WordPress, including Elementor. I have familiarity with the other tools I have been trained in as well, including those I have done professional development work for such as Microsoft Excel. It was nice to be able to have things to say when making my resume, because that meant not only that I had things to add to my resume, but that I have been developing concrete skills that I could see accumulated over time. Existing skills I was thinking about that I have strengthened include the general work skills that come with having a job like this, such as communication with peers and supervisors.
