My feedback for the ArcGIS Online training I re-completed today is mainly that it is good for getting used to the basics of using ArcGIS Online. However, the one area for growth I might offer is that, at least for the purpose of training a Vivero Fellow, it could be more guided. It says one can adjust their map by doing a bunch of things, but does not specifically instruct towards any one thing. I think, for some options at least, it could be useful to suggest a specific adjustment one might make and then invite them to experiment with adjusting the same thing in other ways. I also think it might be good to have using the 1920s CSV alongside the 1900 one as part of the main training since using multiple layers seems useful to know how to do and it is not difficult or time consuming. When looking for a training to revisit, I wanted one to visualize data, but the only training I had previously done I revisited a week ago, and I was curious to try out ArcGIS online again. In the coming semester I think I will focus on exploring and learning data visualization tools because of their relevance to my work on my project.
